Flirting with Chaos by Kenya Wright—Cover Reveal!

Release Date: November 19, 2013
Genre: New Adult Rock Star Erotic Romance
Publisher: Omnific Publishing

Can two mentally unstable best friends have sex and not drown in chaos?
Rain's been washing blood off her hands for far too long. After five years, she accepts the fact that she"s still a little crazy but feels as if she's finally gotten it all under control.
Parties, drugs, and sex flood Jude's life, and music and scandal run through his veins. He's the son of a rock god and grandson of a jazz legend. It's no surprise that his own star is on the rise, and with so many groupies vying for his attention, his childhood best friend Rain keeps him anchored in reality.
She's nothing like him--an art student with no idea of her own beauty, who would rather curl up with a sci-fi novel than party in the spotlight. Everything changes when she asks him for a unique favor: she wants him to take her virginity. He's more than willing to oblige, but things get complicated when his pervy father gets involved. Meanwhile, intense feelings rise to the surface, ones neither Rain nor Jude are prepared to deal with.
If their relationship has any chance for survival, she must finally confront the demons of her past, and he must face the addictions of the present. When the smoke clears, will they find that sex between best friends was a good idea, or will they discover they had been Flirting With Chaos the entire time?

Everyone jumped and swayed fast, pumped and wound their bodies around the dance floor. Jude and I continued rocking into each other. We were entangled into the moment—the song, the feel of our bodies, the heat radiating between us, our scents mingling together, and the mounting of an orgasm that sparked at my center and rose higher and higher, just yearning to detonate into sensual delight.

About the Author:
Kenya Wright always knew she would be famous since the ripe old age of six when she sang the Michael Jackson thriller song in her bathroom mirror. She has tried her hand at many things from enlisting in the Navy for six years as a Persian-Farsi linguist to being a nude model at an art university.

However, writing has been the only constant love in her life. Will she succeed? Of course.
For she has been coined The Urban Fantasy Queen, the Super Iconic Writer of this Age, The Lyrical Genius of Our Generation. Granted, these are all terms coined by her, within the private walls of her bathroom as she still sings the Michael Jackson thriller song.

Kenya Wright currently resides in Miami with her three amazing, overactive children, a supportive, gorgeous husband, and three cool black cats that refuse to stop sleeping on Kenya’s head at night.

My Thoughts:
It's very simple, but very cool. I love how the heart is made with blood splatters; it gives it a danger vibe that I love. I adored Kenya's collab with D.T Dyllin in Hot Redemption so I'm definitely excited to read this!

Cinderella Screwed Me Over by Cindi Madsen—Blog Tour!

Release Date: October 22, 2013
Publisher: Entangled:
Series: N/A
Genre: Romance
Characters: Darby Quinn, Jake
Pages: 400
Format: eBook
Source: Publisher
Buy the Book: Amazon

Synopsis: Darby Quinn has a bone to pick with Cinderella. Burned one too many times by ex-boyfriends, Darby has lost all belief in the happily-ever-after that the fairy-tale princess promised her. She's sworn off love, Prince Charmings, and happy endings and she's happy about it. Really. Or at least she was…until she met Jake, her gorgeous neighbor and the manager of her favorite restaurant. But Darby has rules about dating, ones she's culled from her years spent with so-called “princes,” and starting something with Jake would break all of them.

Charming, fun, and unwilling to give up on her, Jake doesn’t fit any of the profiles Darby has created from her case studies of ex-princes-gone-bad. Finally presented with her own Prince Charming, can Darby take a chance on a happily-ever-after?

Full of wit and sarcastic humor, Cinderella Screwed Me Over proves that sometimes the perfect love, like a perfect pair of shoes, is just within your grasp.

Cindi Madsen sits at her computer every chance she gets, plotting revising, and falling in love with her characters. Sometimes it makes her a crazy person. Without it, she’d be even crazier. She has way too many shoes, but can always find a reason to buy a new pretty pair, especially if they’re sparkly, colorful, or super tall. She loves music, dancing, and wishes summer lasted all year long. She lives in Colorado (where summer is most definitely NOT all year long) with her husband and three children. She is the YA author of DEMONS OF THE SUN & ALL THE BROKEN PIECES, and the adult author of FALLING FOR HER FIANCE, ACT LIKE YOU LOVE ME and CINDERELLA SCREWED ME OVER.

Jake put his arm over the back of the couch. His fingers grazed my shoulder, then
he twisted them in the ends of my hair, sending a tingly sensation along my scalp “Nope.
Just had some experience with stuff like this before.”

“You think you’ve got women all figured out, then, do you?” I asked.

Jake shook his head. “No way. Every time you think you do, they change the rules on you. Like they could love the way you were yesterday and hate it the next day.”

“Every now and then, we change our minds. It’s our prerogative. The big secret is”—I leaned in conspiratorially—“sometimes, even we don’t know why. There are times after we pick a fight where we’re as confused as you are. But there’s no way we’re admitting it.” I shrugged a shoulder. “That’s why we have boobs.”

Jake’s eyebrows shot up.

“See, after we’ve acted crazy, and the guy’s wondering what he’s doing with us, we use them to mesmerize him, so he forgets that we’re crazy.” I shot Jake my most seductive smile and leaned the assets in question against his arm. “And by the way, if you look at my cleavage right now, even though I’m the one talking about it, I’ll accuse you of not caring about what I say and of just treating me like an object.”

Jake swallowed hard, keeping eye contact with me, though I could tell he was fighting his impulse to look down. A mischievous glint flickered through his eyes. “And treating you like an object would be bad?”

“It depends on how big a deal you make about how smart, funny, talented, etcetera, etcetera I am first.”

Jake slid his hand behind my neck and swept his thumb along my jaw. “Have I told you how smart, funny, talented, and etcetera I think you are?”

“You think I’m going to fall for that when I just fed you the lines?” Before he could answer, I kissed him.

Using his hand on my neck, he pulled me closer, forcing my lips open with his tongue. His other hand slid up my thigh, and even through jeans, my skin burned from his touch.

Ta-da! Go READ. IT. I promise it's so freaking good and cute!

My Date From Hell by Tellulah Darling—Blog Tour!

Title: My Ex From Hell
Author: Tellulah Darling
Series: Blooming Goddess #1 Release date: Oct 31
Publisher: Te Da Media
Age Group: Young Adult
Genre: Romantic comedy/Greek mythology
Buy the Book: Amazon
Book Description:
Sixteen-year-old Sophie Bloom wishes she'd been taught the following:

a) Bad boy's presence (TrOuBlE) + teen girl's brain (DraMa) = TrAuMa (Highly unstable and very volatile.)
b) The Genus Greekulum Godissimus is notable for three traits: 1) awesome abilities, 2) grudges, and 3) hook-ups, break-ups, and in-fighting that puts cable to shame.

Prior to the Halloween dance, Sophie figures her worst problems involve adolescent theatrics, bitchy teen yoga girls, and being on probation at her boarding school for mouthy behaviour. Then she meets bad boy Kai and gets the kiss that rocks her world.

This breath stealing lip lock reawakens Sophie's true identity: Persephone, Goddess of Spring. She's key to saving humanity in the war between the Underworld and Olympus, target numero uno of Hades and Zeus, and totally screwed.

Plus there's also the little issue that Sophie's last memory as Persephone was just before someone tried to murder her.

Big picture: master her powers, get her memories back, defeat Persephone's would be assassin, and save the world. Also, sneak into the Underworld to retrieve stolen property, battle the minions of Hades and Zeus, outwit psycho nymphs, slay a dragon, rescue a classmate, keep from getting her butt expelled from the one place designed to keep her safe ...

... and stop kissing Kai, Prince of the Underworld.

My Ex From Hell is a YA romantic comedy/Greek mythology smackdown. Love meets comedy with a whole lot of sass in book 1 of this teen fantasy romance series. Compared to Kai and Sophie, Romeo and Juliet had it easy.

My Review: I am a total fan of Greek mythology so of course I was instantly attracted to reading this. And I'm glad I gave it a read. So, it turns out that Sophie is Persephone. CRAZY.
And the new hottie? Kai? Um, yeah he's Prince of the Underworld. Talk about falling for the bad boy. This story is full of fun twists and adventures and so many laughs. It was hilarious! It's cute, but it has action. It's cool with some edge and I looved Sophie!
I definitely recommend you don't miss out on this one! :)

Brandon Wilson is trouble.

As leader of the largest car theft ring in Atlanta, GA, life is coming at him faster than he can handle. While the criminal world views him at the top of his game, the truth is, he’s breaking apart, piece by piece. He’s not sure how much more he can take before he completely shatters.

He’s able to manage this facade until he meets Claire Peters. As a part of a kidnapping scheme gone bad, she’s literally delivered right to his warehouse door. As his love for her grows, Brandon finds himself caught in an impossible dilemma. With his lifestyle, he knows he can’t keep Claire, and yet, he can’t risk letting her go, either. His men think he should make her disappear forever, but she’s his angel who still believes in second chances.

Can someone be so lost they’re beyond saving? And if salvation is possible, how does Claire show him the way?

Can a thief be redeemed?

My Review: This book was pretty good. I wasn't very sure what to expect but Brandon really is a criminal. Not watered down, he just is. Then Claire is just so sweet, but she's witty, you know? She has spunk, so she's not like defenseless and under Brandon's paw, no. I loved their banter and their chemistry, they just fit somehow. The dynamic between them was fantastic and the story has very unexpected turn of events that at a first impression left me doubting but they just fit with them. The circumstances, the scene. Very well thought out and interesting.

Leigh Clary Abdou is a graduate from the University of Georgia and wrote her first book in the third grade. That story, along with a collection of poems and other books, can still be found in their original location - a purple Trapper Keeper.
When Leigh isn’t writing, she’s reading or watching reruns of Friends and Sex and the City.
She considers being a wife and mother her life’s greatest accomplishments.
The Thief Redeemer is her debut novel.

Synopsis: Forgiving your brother's murderer may be noble, but falling in love with him borders on betrayal.

When Paige Zukowski enrolls at Granton University in honor of her dead brother, she has no idea fate will land her on the same campus with the very guy who killed him. But Logan Xander isn't quite the murderer she's always believed him to be.

A day hasn't passed since the tragedy that Logan doesn't wish he could go back and undo everything. It doesn't take Paige long to realize he's suffered as much as she has. Forgiving him for ruining her life might not be so impossible after all. But when she actually starts to like him and realizes he likes her in return, their true anguish begins.

My Review: AH-MAZING. It brought so many surprises. I mean can we talk about how Logan kills her [Paige's] brother? I don't think I've ever read a more heart-wrenching story. Seriously, I'd barely gotten to 50% of the book and I'd cried three times. It was so emotional and so very, very real. I love how it wasn't just this, "Oh okay, I forgive you." No. It took a process. A healing process. An acceptance proccess. For both Paige and Logan. It was emotional and so many things were sooo very unexpected. I'm trying to hold it all in and not speak of spoilers, but the feels are huge so I think I'll make a vlog later to properly express all my feels and speak uncensored.
This is like a total tiny spoiler, kind of, because really I'm gonna be very vague, but... the forgiveness scene. Like open forgiveness. Beautiful. I wailed like a baby. It was so tender, so amazing and beautiful and perfect. And dear Christ, Logan isjust so incredible. It's all very sad. I wanna weep again just thinking about it all! Gah I'm gonna read this again soon.
I think I have a discovered a new great author. Yes! So looking forward ro reading more of her works.
