Never Let Go by Scarlett Edwards—Cover Reveal!

Release Date: October 15, 2013
Series: N/A
Publisher: Amazon
Book Blurb: The start of college heralds new beginnings and new friendships. It gives every girl a chance to reinvent herself.

I go and screw mine up by meeting the most gorgeous guy I've laid eyes on in five years while talking to my cat outside my dorm.

But Andrew Crowner is far from judgmental. After helping me move my things to my room, he has me smitten by his easy manners and kind smile. And from the way his eyes linger on me before he leaves, I start to think that maybe I've caught his attention, too.

I let myself believe that luck might finally be on my side until I stumble upon my roommate... and her overnight guest.

Spencer Ashford.

Lean and tattooed, sexy as sin and dangerous, Spencer is exactly the type I want to avoid. I would have no trouble with that... were it not for his swift and inexplicable interest in me.

In the span of a week, I go from a girl with next-to-no experience with boys to one caught in the cross hairs of two totally different men.

Andrew's interest is wholesome and sweet. Spencer's is edgy and raw. The choice should be easy. But there are always complications, and sometimes, matters of the heart take the least expected turns.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

I’m Scarlett Edwards.  I wrote my first book as a college sophomore.  After six months of edits, it made its debut as Yours to Savor.

That was at the start of 2013.  I've written more books since then.

It's funny how quickly life changes.  I used to think I'd need a degree to get a "Real Job."  Then I wrote a few books, they got somewhat popular, and now I'm living the life as a full-time romance author.

Thanks to all my readers for making my dream come true.

My Own Mr. Darcy by Karey White—Blog Tour!

My Own Tour

Realease Date: July 15, 2013
Publisher: CreateSpace
Series: N/A
Characters: Elizabeth Barret, Matt Dawson, Chad
Age Group: Young Adult
Pages: 112
Format: Kindle
Source: I Am a Reader Not a Writer

Synopsis: After being dragged to the 2005 movie Pride and Prejudice by her mother, sixteen-year-old Elizabeth’s life changes when Matthew Macfadyen’s Mr. Darcy appears on the screen. Lizzie falls hard and makes a promise to herself that she will settle for nothing less than her own Mr. Darcy. This ill-advised pledge threatens to ruin any chance of finding true love. During the six intervening years, she has refused to give any interested suitors a chance. They weren’t Mr. Darcy enough. Coerced by her roommate, Elizabeth agrees to give the next interested guy ten dates before she dumps him. That guy is Chad, a kind and thoughtful science teacher and swim coach. While she’s dating Chad, her dream comes true in the form of a wealthy bookstore owner named Matt Dawson, who looks and acts like her Mr. Darcy. Of course she has to follow her dream. But as Elizabeth simultaneously dates a regular guy and the dazzling Mr. Dawson, she’s forced to re-evaluate what it was she loved about Mr. Darcy in the first place.

My Review: This book was so sweet! A squeaky clean and adorable romance. Elizabeth is obsessed with finding Mr. Darcy, therefore not giving other guys a chance. Maybe a date, but then discarded because she's so focused. In walks Chad, he's so charming and sweet and cute and he just makes my heart melt. He's no Mr. Darcy, but upon her best friend's insistence, she decides to go out with Chad on 10 dates. A few dates later, she meets Matt Dawson, broody, snobby, a bit of an ass if you ask me, and... Elizabeth's Mr. Darcy, unfortunately. I was rooting for Chad the whole way! Even when Matt looked a bit promising. I swooned over Chad the whole time, I just couldn't help it! This story was absolutely lovely and I encourage everyone to read itr, I promise you won't be disappointing. Although, I will admit that I wanted that end scene to be a wee bit longer, cause well... :) No cheating! Go ahead and read it!

Excerpt:
What happened next wasn’t supposed to happen. Ever. And I didn’t mean for it to happen this time. I just didn’t see it coming until it was too late.

“Have you seen any good movies lately?” Chad asked.

“I haven’t gone to a movie in ages, but I watched part of Pride and Prejudice last night.”

“What is it about that movie? My mom and sister like it, too.”

“Probably because it’s one of the best movies ever made.”

“You really think so?”

“I love it.”

“Allison—that’s my sister—she says the best way to impress a girl is to watch Pride and Prejudice with her.”

Uh oh. I tried to hide my qualms with a laugh that sounded artificial to my ears. Long ago I’d decided my Pride and Prejudice was a hallowed movie—only to be shared with a chosen few. I knew it would be difficult, if not impossible, to hide my feelings about the movie. And about Mr. Darcy. How could I betray Mr. Darcy by watching him bare his soul while I sat beside another man?

“Let’s watch it.”

“I don’t know. You probably wouldn’t like it,” I said. “There’s no action. It’s all dialogue.”

“Should I be offended that you think I couldn’t handle a movie with dialogue?” Chad was teasing me and I should have teased back but I was too busy panicking.

“It’s not that I think you couldn’t handle it. I just don’t think you’d really like it. We could watch something else. Mission Impossible? Transformers?” Please. Anything but Pride and Prejudice.

“I’m afraid you’re only making me more curious to see what all the fuss is about. There’s a video store close to my house. Let’s go get it.”

I made other suggestions at the video store but in the end, we walked out with Pride and Prejudice and Chad’s thumb was covering Matthew Macfadyen’s face.

EXCERPT

The two hours left of orientation pass quickly due to my fantasizing about Claire Peters and before I know it, she’s announced it’s time for lunch. I stand and wait for all the other interns to exit the room. I have no desire to make friends with any of those twits. I focus on the one girl I really want to know.
She might be the one to help me find the files, I remind myself. Anyway, I might as well have some fun while I’m here.
She’s sitting at the front of the room sorting papers when I stop at her desk. I wait for her to look up and when she does, I offer my signature smile.
“So, tell me what I missed, Miss Claire,” I say, grabbing a seat and sitting across from her.
“We were discussing some of the cases you’ll be representing this summer and some of the extra-curricular activities that are expected of you outside the office.”
I smile. “Sounds lovely.” And it does sound lovely since I won’t be here longer than seven days. I think I’m having some sort of an effect on this woman, although she’s a tough one to crack. She notices my flirting and she hasn’t totally brushed me off, but she’s reserved. She’s going to be a challenge, but that’s okay. I never back down from a challenge.
I have roughly a week to get this girl into my bed, and I’m prepared to pull out all the stops to get her there. In fact, I’m going to up the ante and say I can have her there in five.
Oh yeah, and I need to worry about those files. I scold myself for getting off task so easily. Claire Peters is way too distracting.
“What time is this orientation over today?”
“Your schedule will be located in your packet, Thomas, but most days we end at five pm.”
Five pm! Hell, my whole day has just been shot. I lay my head back on the chair in exasperation, which results in Claire giving me a small giggle. I raise my head and decide to up my game.
Before I can even begin, she beats me to the punch. “How come you don’t look familiar? I interviewed all the interns, but I don’t remember you.”
Oh shit. What do I say? My brain goes a million miles an hour, but I don’t panic. I’m used to the lies and deceit. “I remember you.”
A small blush creeps across her cheeks, and that’s when I know I have her. This will be easier than I thought. I lean in and put my arm on her desk. It’s a risk because this chick scares easily. I can’t get too cocky.
“So, Claire, I hear you’re the best intern teacher they’ve ever had at this office.”
At that, Claire leans her head back and laughs. I love the sound of her laughter and for a minute, I forget why I’m here and what I’m doing. I want to live forever with her in this moment. She really might be an angel and for a second, my guard slips away. Maybe she’s too good for me. Maybe I won’t get this girl into my bed after all, because maybe she’s above that.
The moment quickly ends and the mask settles back on my face.
Claire stops laughing. “Well, whoever told you that only said it because I’m the only intern teacher.”
“The only one?”
“That’s right. We just started this program about three years ago, and I’ve been the teacher since the start. Mr. Birch put me in charge, and I’ve never looked back.”
I admire her strength and drive. This girl is going to be something one day. She’ll amount to a hell of a lot more than I have. My cocky fa├žade slips again and the words slip involuntarily from my mouth. “Claire, you’re going to go far in life.”
She looks at me, and gratitude flows through her eyes. “Thanks, Thomas. That means a lot.”
I shake my head and stand. I’ve got to get out of here. I can talk to her after class about the files, but right now this girl is stripping me bare. I’m even considering telling her my real name because I hate her calling me Thomas.
I need to remove myself and get some fresh air.
“I’m off to lunch,” I announce while I shove my hands in my pockets. “You want anything?”
“No, I’m good. I brought something from home.”
I nod and start to walk out. When I reach the door she calls my name.
“Thomas!”
I turn and notice the blue of her eyes. I give her my complete attention.
“Be back here by one. I don’t want you to be late this time.”
My lips curve to a smile as I open the door. “Yes, drill sergeant,” I joke as she gives me condescending smile.
“I’m not Lieutenant Dan, Thomas.” She’s teasing me and I see laughter play across her eyes. At least she has a sense of humor. And really, who doesn’t love Forrest Gump?

Hot Redemption by K.D Penn—Blog Tour!

Release Date: December 2013
Author: K.D. Penn (pseudonym for Kenya Wright and D.T. Dyllin)
Publisher: Dragonfairy Press
Genre: Cyberpunk Erotic Romance
Series: N/A
Characters: Epic, Phoenix
Pages: 238
Format: Kindle
Source: Dragonfairy Press

Synopsis:
Epic and his brothers don’t rob strip clubs for fun or fame, but to use the electric currency to take care of their family. With androids and robots flooding the job market, it’s almost impossible for humans to find work. Besides, stealing comes easy to the gang, until Phoenix steps into their lives, snatching away their bounty and fogging up Epic’s mind with her seductive scent.

Shots blare. A chase ensues. Both sides refuse to yield. And the small compromise that comes is brought by chains and a promise for a bigger hit—on a planet far away from earth.

Can Epic and Phoenix work together to rescue themselves from poverty?

Or will they find another type of redemption, one lathered in lust and warmth, pleasure, and the type of undemanding love that no human can live without?

My Review: This book was mega HOT. Besides being mega hot it was sexy, action-packed and amazing! Give me some K.D Penn anyday that you would like. Seriously, I honestly did not expect it all to go down the way it did. It was just so freaking.... epic. *giggles* Yes, so clever. So, Epic is our main hero or rather thief I guess is more accurate. The thing about this book and these characters is that they are so darn real. Their attitudes believable. From the way they acted and apoke in such crude ways you knew that they both came from harsh backgrounds and that life had knocked them down and beat them to a bloody pulp before. Both Epic and Nix had this raw intensity that was just palpable through the pages in a way that made my heart race in those steamy, oh so amazing scenes. And the action scenes? My knuckles gripped my phone so hard they ached once it was over. It was that awesome. And I swear, just wait 'till you see that ending. Never in a million years did it cross my mind! One of my favorites this year most definitely and a read you will not want to miss.

About the Authors:
K.D. Penn is a pseudonym for the writing team of Kenya Wright and D.T. Dyllin. Or to make it simpler for you…

Kenya Wright always knew she would be famous since the ripe old age of six when she sang the Michael Jackson thriller song in her bathroom mirror. She has tried her hand at many things from enlisting in the Navy for six years as a Persian-Farsi linguist to being a nude model at an art university.

However, writing has been the only constant love in her life. Will she succeed? Of course.

For she has been coined The Urban Fantasy Queen, the Super Iconic Writer of this Age, The Lyrical Genius of Our Generation. Granted, these are all terms coined by her, within the private walls of her bathroom as she still sings the Michael Jackson thriller song.

Kenya Wright currently resides in Miami with her three amazing, overactive children, a
supportive, gorgeous husband, and three cool black cats that refuse to stop sleeping on Kenya’s head at night.

Cynical-Optimist. Chocolate-holic. Sarcasm Addict. Paranormal Believer. Self-Imposed Insomniac. Sci-Fi Geek. Animal Lover. Writer…are just a few words to describe D.T. Dyllin. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and now lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband and two very spoiled GSDs.

Title: Keep You From Harm
Author: Debra Doxer
Expected release: September 27th, 2013
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Age Group: New Adult
Cover designed by: Okay Creations

Synopsis: Secrets…

They weigh you down. I’ve kept a secret all my life. It’s my mother’s secret, too. I inherited it from her along with a unique ability that only we possess. She’s gone now, another victim of addiction. If her death isn’t enough to bring me to my knees, her betrayal flays me to the bone. Because the secret my mother and I have been keeping is just one of many she’d kept. She never told me I have an older brother. And now he’s here, eager to be my guardian.

There is no one else. So I move across the country to live with this stranger, my brother. But experience has taught me that most situations are temporary and forming attachments only leads to hurt in the end. That’s why I’m determined to keep to myself in this new place, struggling to seem aloof while I’m quietly breaking apart.

Then I meet Lucas…

His magnetism is hard to resist, and most girls at school aren’t resisting. I don’t fall so easily though, especially not for guys who use their good looks as a weapon. From the start, our interactions are tense and volatile. I know it’s because I’m denying the unwelcome desire that grips me when he’s near. I think he feels it, too. He looks at me with an intensity that threatens to unhinge my resolve. Soon he’s trying to break through the walls that past hurts have built.

But I’m not what I appear to be, and it wouldn’t be fair to get involved with him. At least that’s what I tell myself. Until a terrible act of violence reveals that Lucas has a secret, too. It’s a secret that links us together and ties us to an evil history I never could have imagined.

Synopsis: It didn’t matter that the ref called it a clean hit. Nico Hunter would never be the same. Elle has a good life. A job she loves, a great apartment, and the guy she’s been dating for more than two years is a catch and a half. But it’s boring…and she strives to keep it that way. Too many emotions are dangerous. Her own past is living proof of what can happen when you lose control. Then Nico walks into Elle’s office and everything changes…for both of them. But what can the tattooed, hard-bodied MMA fighter and the beautiful and always steady attorney have in common? A lot more than they bargained for.

EXCERPTS

Meet Elle and Nico
Elle on Nico I’ve never seen a body like his so close before. It just doesn’t seem real. Both of his arms are covered in tattoos, it looks like he’s wearing colorful sleeves, only he has no shirt on. They intertwine and wrap around his bulging biceps and I get the urge to trace a path from the first splat of ink to the last with my tongue. My body’s reaction to him is unlike anything I’ve ever felt before. These aren’t feelings that I’m used to, they seem to come out of nowhere and are uncontrollable. One side of his lip curls up slightly, as though he is amused at my staring. He hands me a glass of wine without asking if I want one and I take it because I need it to calm my nerves. I’m here staring at this bigger than life man, and suddenly I’m speechless. The wine can’t seep into my bloodstream quick enough. Half the glass is gone in one long, unladylike gulp. “Thirsty?” I look up at him and find a glimmer of amusement in Nico’s eyes, mixed with something else. I think he knows I’m trying to calm myself and I fidget in my seat on the couch as he stands there looking so unaffected.

Nico on Elle I’m up at five a.m. every morning. Well, every morning except today. I slept like shit, my body a mass of pent-up frustration. I kept my word all night. Even though all I wanted to do was pick her up, carry her into my bedroom, and ram myself into her to claim her as mine. Then she kissed me. I know I could have taken it further after that kiss. But I don’t want one night with Elle. I want more. I have no idea why, but I do. A lot fucking more. By the time I drove back home last night, I’d gotten myself under control. I’d reasoned with my hard-on until it finally saw my way. Who knew you could reason with a fucking hard-on. I guess I never tried. I just took care of it, did what it wanted me to. But then I walked into my loft and I smelled her. And all reasoning went out the window. I couldn’t sleep with a steel pipe in my pants, so I took a cold shower. It didn’t help. Then I was wide awake with a hard-on. I tossed and turned with a picture of Elle smiling at me in my head. Taunting me for being such a sap.

Synposis: Cora Lewis is a whole lot of fun, and she knows how to keep her tattooed bad boy friends in line. But all that flash and sass hide the fact that she’s never gotten over the way her first love broke her heart. Now she has a plan to make sure that never happens again: She’s only going to fall in love with someone perfect. Rome Archer is as far from perfect as a man can be. He’s stubborn and rigid, he’s bossy and has come back from his final tour of duty fundamentally broken. Rome’s used to filling a role: big brother, doting son, super soldier; and now none of these fit anymore. Now he’s just a man trying to figure out what to do with the rest of his life while keeping the demons of war and loss at bay. He would have been glad to suffer it alone, until Cora comes sweeping into his life and becomes the only color on his bleak horizon. Perfect isn’t in the cards for these two, but imperfect might just last forever . . .

About the Author: I'm supposed to share interesting details about myself so that my readers get to know me so here we go in no particular order: I'm an natural redhead even though I haven't seen my real hair color in years, I'm a big fan of tattoos and have a half sleeve on either arm and various other pieces all over the place, I've been in the bar industry since I was in college and it has always offered interesting insight into how men and women interact with each other, I have 3 dogs that are all crazy, I live in Colorado and love the snow, I love music and in all reality wish I could be a rock star not a writer or a bartender but I have zero talent so there is that. I love to write, love to read and all I'm interested in is a good story with interesting characters that make the reader feel something.

Today Kendra Highley and Entangled Teen Ember are revealing the cover for SIDELINED. Coming out this September!

On to the reveal!

Blurb:
After being pushed to excel her entire life, high school basketball star Genna Pierce is finally where she wants to be. University scouts are taking notice, her team is on its way to the state tourney, and Jake Butler, the hot boy she's daydreamed about since ninth grade, is showing somedefinite interest. When he asks her out and their relationship takes off, Genna believes things can't get better.

Then, it's over.

A freak accident ends her career before it's even begun. Her parents are fighting more than ever, her friends don't understand what she's going through, and she's not sure who she is without basketball. And while he tries to be there for her, Genna doesn't understand how Jake could ever want the broken version of the girl he fell for.

Her life in a tailspin, Genna turns to the only solace that eases her pain: Vicodin.
