Synopsis: There are three things you need to know about Janie Morris: 1) She is incapable of engaging in a conversation without volunteering TMTI (Too Much Trivial Information), especially when she is unnerved, 2) No one unnerves her more than Quinn Sullivan, and 3) She doesn't know how to knit.
After losing her boyfriend, apartment, and job in the same day, Janie Morris can't help wondering what new torment fate has in store. To her utter mortification, Quinn Sullivan- aka Sir McHotpants- witnesses it all then keeps turning up like a pair of shoes you lust after but can't afford. The last thing she expects is for Quinn- the focus of her slightly, albeit harmless, stalkerish tendencies- to make her an offer she can't refuse.
My Review: I adored this book. I read it quite a while ago and I am still like awaiting the second one. I'll have to Google the series and author later. Anyway, Janie Morris is incredibly smart and knows a whole bunch of trivial facts, which I found incredibly cool. I wish I knew all that trivia! She sucks at human interaction though. Like she gets all nervous and stuff, especially around Quinn. Quinn is attracted to her and she does not know how to handle it or how to interact with him. She's afraid of screwing everything up and his thinking she's strange because of all the random facts constantly popping out of her mouth. I learned a lot of cool stuff in this book and I loved how Quinn, in his own way, was also really sucky at interaction. They helped each other get through the awkward stage of not knowing hot to proceed and I found that very endearing. Quinn is a total badass and Janie is swooning all over the place because of it and it was just so much fun!
