When privileged 17-year-old Jasmine gets kicked out of her house, she takes what is left of her savings and flees to Santa Cruz to pursue her dream of becoming a musician. Jasmine finds the ideal room in an oceanfront house, but she needs to convince the three guys living there that she's the perfect roommate and lead guitarist for their band, C-Side. Too bad she has major stage fright and the cute bassist doesn't think a spoiled girl from over the hill can hack it...

This story was one that I really enjoyed and considered sort of different in the sense that when it comes to rich girls they usually succumb to their parents saying without so much as a peep just because they're afraid. They let their parents decide everything for them. And I really liked this story because I that. I loved how Jasmine was strong and made it out of her way to chase down her dream, even when her dad didn't want to support her. She packed a few measly belongings and got the hell outta dodge. I loved that. It took some serious balls to do that. Especially considering how she then was homeless and unemployed. She finds a band who is auditioning guitar players and he is just thrilled o give it a go. She just has a tiny bit of stage fright, what could go wrong?
Once she moves in with the band it goes downhill from there and crazy is just your everyday. There's also that cute bassist, Sean, who just doesn't seem to think she's fit for the band and is and always will be a rich, spoiled brat. Nice. I enjoyed very much watching their relationship grow and watching them get used to each other. Life is never pink, and Sean is getting over an ex-girlfriend that broke his heart. Can Jasmine make him forget her and be given a chance? Does she even want to...?
