When I finished reading Between the Lines, I felt the end left me with an unfinished situation so, naturally, when I heard of the sequel, I was excited and curious.
In this book Graham's point of view is integrated into the story and I love that I got a peek into his mind.
Graham is serious and reserved which means many things were left unsaid about him in the first book and I was hungry for details.
Graham Douglas doesn't want romantic relationships but when he met Emma Pierce on the set of School Pride, a year ago, he felt a strong connection to her. When Reid Alexander—Hollywood's Golden Boy—starts to pursue Emma, Graham feels it best to stay away. After going back to New York he is found face to face with her and can no longer deny his feelings.
Brooke Cameron is Little Miss L.A. After having survived three months on location with her ex-boyfriend, Reid Alexander, she decides it's time for something serious. And what she wants is Graham and she won't let anyone stand in her way. Reid and Brooke decide to team up and do everything in their hands to forever separate Graham and Emma.

I loved this book so much better than the first one! Which I didn't think possible because the first one was absolutely incredible. I was dying to know how Emma and Graham's relationship worked out but what I mostly curious about was Reid. In the first book I was a bundle of uncertainty because even though it was clear that Graham was the better guy, I had hope that Reid would change for Emma and clean up his act. Even if he is a complete jackass, Reid Alexander is such a complicated and intricately whole character that I can't help but to ache for him and love him.
In this second book Reid and Brooke set up malicious plans to plant the seed of doubt between Emma and Graham so Emma will fall back into Reid's arms. Various attempts are made to destroy their relationship. Throughout the whole book I couldn't help but love Graham more and dislike Reid. But Tammara made an interesting turn of events that left me breathless and, not only did Reid win back my heart, but it left me anticipating the third book (which comes out in December 2011!).
I was grateful for the three chapters Webber left for us from the third book. I know she will once again sweep away her readers and make another spectacular story.
