When the publisher agreed to send me this ARC I almost hopped up and down... I actually did... a little. I had read the synopsis before and honestly as soon as i finished reading it I thought: I MUST HAVE IT! Eeepp!! It so did not disappoint me!
Hodkin pulls you into the story from the very first page in a way that you cannot drop the book until you have devoured every single word.
Mara Dyer wakes up in a hospital and she doesn't remember why she is there or how she got there. She is hit with the painful news that her best friend and her boyfriend died when the old building they were in collapsed. Mara needs a change in her life away from her awful accident.
With everything that is going on, her mother wanting her to take her psychotics, her father with a murder case and everyone tiptoeing around her because they are afraid of hurting or traumatizing her, she doesn't think she will fall in love. Mara is wrong.
When Mara moves to Florida, she meets Noah; British, hot, bad boy Noah. As Mara's life spirals out of control and she starts seeing things that aren't there, she turns towards, not only love, but possibly the truth she has been waiting for all along.
I adored, freaking, loved this book! I loved Noah! Not only because of his personality but his looks and of course that accent that makes me swoon! *-*
This book will leave you breathless for the next! Great story.
