I bought this book because honestly I loved the cover; when I read the back I wasn't too exited to read it but it seemed interesting enough. I started the book and right from the start I got a sluggish vibe. Like just thinking about reading it made me feel, I dunno, blah.
So, eventually I did read it. Not a big fan. I didn't like it much. I just thought it was a bit slow and the whole "I will replace your child with a mini monster" idea was kind of dumb.
The characters were so-so. The main character—Mackie—was not one of the best. First of all he was always sick or dying or just plain stupid. There was also Tate who, at the beginning, was a bit of a stalker and I isn't like that. But, I did like that she was tough and she was the only one willing to acknowledge the fact that little kids were being taken. A character that I also like was Emma, Mackie's sister, because she loved him and to her it didn't matter that he wasn't human and she did everything to make sure he was well and loved and took care of him.
There was also the whole underground-ugly-creepy-creatures situation which was kind of cool. But I guess it did keep me entertained while I had nothing else to read so I'll give it 3 stars.

This book I wasn't so sure when I bought it and to be honest there was nothing better to buy. It was on my to-read list but it wasn't one I was dying to read. I bought various books alongside this one and this was the last one I read.
It was good. If I am to be honest it was better than I expected, but I didn't loooove it. You didn't fall asleep and you weren't lost which is important.
So basically, they live in a world where teens at the age of 16 get a tattoo which declares they have become of age and are allowed to have sex and, not only that, but they are encouraged to do so. They are constantly bombarded with comercials about sex and are made into sex-crazed teens. Sexteens.
Nina dreads the day she will turn sixteen. She doesn't want to be a blind sexteen. With her mother being murdered and her father dead since before she was born, she's all alone. Before passing away her mother tells her the strangest thing: look for her father! Nina thinks she was not lucid and dismisses it but then she meets cute and charming Sal. He will help her uncover her past, the secrets and horrors of being 16 and may change her whole world as she knows it.
Nina is dubious and is afraid that all he wants to have with her is sex. What scares her most is that she wants him but she doesn't want to become another sexteen.

This story is amazing! I LOVED it! Like, I'm seriously in love with the main character! He's so my type! Bad boy, hot, tall, dark, yum!
So, Nora Grey's biology teacher suddenly decides to assign them all to new partners and Nora is furious to be separated from her best friend. She's paired up with gorgeous and mysterious Patch.
Nora wants nothing to do with him. He's rude, snarky, uncooperative and simply drives her crazy! He seems to be everywhere she looks and she just won't admit the connection and attraction she feels to him. Patch is determined to make her fall for him but Nora has a feeling there are ulterior motives which could possibly end her life.
As this beautiful tale unravels, Nora faces mysterious men in ski masks and strange things start happening before her. She sees something then it's not there! Is Nora going crazy?
This book will have you glued from page to page until the very end and will leave you wanting more of bad boy Patch.

I. Am. A. Terrible. Vlogger!

How many reviews have I promised? I'm awful! I suck! I know it! I.m sorry! I try, I really do but my relationship with internet is not a very solid one and I can't always go online. I will make a list of all the reviews I have promised before and until I post every one of them I will not read another book! That is the price I shall pay for being irresponsible and I shall walk the plank of shame.

Hush Hush-Becca Fitzpatrick
To Kill a Mockingbird-Harper Lee
XVI-Julia Karr
Delirium-Lauren Oliver
Where I Belong-Gwendolyn Heasly
The Replacement-Brenna Yovanoff

Just to make it up I will add another review. I shall review Angelfire by Courtney Allison Molton.
Afterward, I'll post another list with other future reviews.
I hope that once I finish posting the reviews on the list and I get on track I can post more regularly and that we are all happy and satisfied! :)
