The books I have reviewed so far have been in the Young Adult genre, so let me start by saying that this book is NOT YA. So it has a few parts that are... explicit.
This book was good. Not great, good. It had it's amazing parts but it was a bit slow, in my opinion. So it turns out that this Sorcerer, Hoyt, travels in time under the order of Morrigan, a goddess, to present time New York. His goal is to find 5 other people, including his brother, Cian, who was turned into a vampire hundreds of years ago, so that he can create an army and form the Circle Of Six. There will be a war and he has to defend the Worlds from Lilith, a powerful vampire. So this story revolves, majorly, around Hoyt seeking to complete his Circle of Six. While on this quest he faces many dangers and falls in the path of love.

Trust me if you read this book you will not regret it because, even though it may not be awesome, the sequel is really good. But best yet, the third book is breathtaking; absolutely to die for.
